If you compost them they will barely be around past six MONTHS! (Composting rates will vary based on process used.)

The INGEO resin is made from switch grass and field corn from Nebraska in the USA. The INGEO resin represents less than 0.5% of the production associated with farming for field corn in Nebraska.  Most field corn is produced for animal feed, glucose-fructose and ethanol. Any plant that contains dextrose can be used to make the INGEO resin. This is a fantastic alternative to plastic and polystyrene.  Extracting oil from the Canadian tar sands destroys the Canadian Boreal Forest which takes in far more CO2 in the world than the Brazilian Rain Forest!
