Certified Compostable Coffee Cups

Conventional paper cups are lined with a petroleum derived wax (usually made from paraffin). These cups are not compostable and are not recyclable. They use more non-renewable resources to make than polystyrene cups! Plastic lids are rarely, if ever recycled in North America.
If you are going to go green and stand behind what you are doing, choose certified compostable coffee cups and lids. Avoid biodegradable coffee cups. These provide no verifiable standard to support ‘green’ claims.
For cold coffee drinks check out our Ingeo line of beverage cups, lids and straws!
Planet Plus Line - Certified by www.bpiworld.org
Both the 12-20oz cup AND the lid met TWRS high standards for performance and transparent green certification.
Please note the 8oz lid is PLASTIC. We expect a compostable lid to arrive for the Planet Plus 8oz cup in late 2009.
